Not satisfied with your purchase?

We have a 24 hours return policy, which means you have 24 hours after receiving your order to request conditional return or exchange.

Please inspect your books once received and contact us immediately if your order is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Return,exchange and refund are handled per case.

* To be eligible for conditional exchange or return, your order must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need proof of purchase.

* Shipping fee is not refundable.

* If your exchange or return is accepted, we’ll send you an exchange or return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Books are to be returned within 24 hours of purchase within Lagos and within 5 days of purchase for out of state orders. Customers are responsible for shipping charges paid to return.

* We will not exchange nor make refunds for book(s) purchased and delivered in good condition.

* For errors made on customers’ orders, that is, sending the wrong books or damages by US. We will exchange the books with those on the original order and bear shipping fee back to the customer. If the book(s) are out of stock or cannot be sourced, We will make a refund for the book(s).

* Books purchased on clearance,discounts and sales are not returnable and non-refundable.
*
* Books purchased and stockpiled for customers are non-refundable nor can there be a transfer of purchase, that is, stockpiled books cannot be swapped.

* THE 1K BOOKSTORE will not issue a refund in a case where you were not available to receive your order at your shipping address.

Please send a picture of the damaged or wrong order to our email alongside your name, phone number, invoice number, and book title.
After confirming your claim, a return and refund proceedings will be started. This process may take between 2-5 business days.
